For the first couple of months it was great. I didn't use the front cover because I found it too bulky, but the back cover worked well to protect it and give me a grip on my phone. But now, just a few months later, the black material that covers the cover is falling off - and very quickly (first a corner, then another, etc).Loved the cover, but with this defect it's now ugly and nearly worthless and it'll soon be time for the trash.
I also like that it protects the screen, and the rubber backing that increases your grip makes it less likely for it to fall out of your hand. I've had the Body Glove for about 2 weeks now and I love this case. Like everyone else who has written about it, it fits my M520 perfectly and is fairly easy to snap on and off. I haven't used the clip, so I can't comment on that. Definitely worth the price if your looking to protect you phone.
Also because it's a full cover I found it more convenient to slide open because I didn't have to push on the little nob. It's not difficult you just have to push in a little more. The rubber textured backing is a nice addition making it easier to grip. Pros: EXCELLENT Protection. An easy process that only takes a few seconds. Also the case makes the volume toggle a little more recessed and not as easy to push.
You can only notice them if the screen is black and you glint the sun off it.
It felt more comfortable sliding it open higher.
The biggest complaint I have is that there is no seal around the speaker/earpiece portion of the phone, so crap always get's in between the screen and the case.
I'm assuming this is why you're buying a case so this one is great in that sense.
This is good and bad because you can't accidentally change the volume.
Also the price is a plus.Cons: Scratches pretty easily, but It's definitely better to replace the case for a few bucks then the phone for a few hundred.
The minor scratches do not affect the look of the phone when it's on.
Since I always keep it in my pocket, it usually get's pocket lint in there and have to clean it on a weekly basis.
This could be easily fixed with a very small piece of rubber on the case around the speaker hole so it was sealed better.Although my review may seem negative, I gave it four stars for a reason and think it's a great case.
It also makes it so much easier to slide it up and down and I don't worry about getting finger prints and cheek prints all over the screen. I am kind of a perfectionist when it comes to keeping my phone looking nice for a long time (I had the inside face cover on my Razr for two years) but it lasts longer and if I choose to sell it, I get a much better return on my investment and it looks nice in the mean time.
It is durable, tough, and keeps my phone protected. The dust does get under the face cover a little but that is just a matter of taking it off once in a while to clean it.
This case fits.well.like a glove. I put the flat one in when I have it in my pocket and when I go running I just pop the button in and clip it.
I would much rather do that then not be able to see my screen becuase of all the scratches. The removable button on the back cover is awesome and perfect for me.
I give it five stars even though the cover is difficult to take off, which to me is a good thing as it does not fall off. I would definitly recommend any owner of the M520 to get this immediately.
Well, it was a great deal, and exactly what I ordered. It was easy to install, and never falls off. The belt clip is optional, and works. The only problem is that the clear plastic screen gets scratched easily, but at least my phone is staying nice.
